CADEV-NIGER Strengthens Its Staff’s Capacities on Niger Taxation

On 15 and 16 May 2025, CADEV-NIGER organized a major training session for its accountants and project managers on Niger taxation. Held in the Jean Paul II hall of the Catholic Mission, this workshop aimed to help participants understand the general principles of taxation, get to grips with the specific features of Niger’s tax system, and learn about the main changes introduced by the 2025 Finance Act.

Led by two renowned experts — Mr. Mohamed Amadou Gueye, an official at the Directorate-General of Taxes, and Mr. Djibrilla Ibrahima, a seasoned tax expert and head of the PROFISC firm — the training featured rich discussions and practical case studies. Drawing on their extensive experience, the two trainers were able to break down complex concepts and make them accessible and directly applicable in the context of NGOs. This initiative reflects CADEV-NIGER’s commitment to further professionalizing its staff for rigorous, compliant and transparent management.
