Final Evaluation of the ALLRight Project: Tangible Results and Valuable Lessons for the Future

From 24 to 26 June 2025, the Bravia hotel hosted the final evaluation of the ALLRight project, marking a highlight in the collaboration between Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Caritas Développement Niger (CADEV Niger). Strong, high-quality participation, with the notable presence of key stakeholders from both organizations, gave this exercise its full strategic importance.

The objective of this gathering was clear: to evaluate the project as a whole, by identifying concrete impacts, the most significant changes, and the achievements gained through the project’s implementation.

ALLRight: Much More Than a Project, a Lever for Transformation

Designed to strengthen the institutional leadership of CADEV Niger, the ALLRight project was part of an ongoing effort to strengthen organizational capacity, thereby enabling CADEV to progressively assert its position in the development and resource mobilization landscape.

Beyond the numerical results and technical data, the final evaluation placed particular emphasis on documenting the experiences lived by stakeholders, because at the heart of any change, it is people, their commitment and their perceptions that truly matter.

Objectives Fully Achieved

After three days of intense discussions, participatory workshops and shared reflection, the objectives of this final evaluation were largely achieved. Participants provided in-depth answers to the six major evaluation questions concerning:
✔ The relevance of the project,
✔ The effectiveness of its implementation,
✔ The efficiency in the use of resources,
✔ Impact 1: CADEV’s institutional positioning,
✔ Impact 2: other significant changes observed,
✔ The sustainability of the project’s achievements.

The lessons learned, the challenges identified and the perspectives shared now form a solid foundation for looking ahead, with a CADEV Niger that is stronger, more self-reliant and better prepared to meet the challenges of development.
