🌍✨ United in Diversity: the Connector Projects for Peace and Social Cohesion ✨🌍

From 5 to 10 May 2025, the villages of the Lipton Gourma zone buzzed with solidarity, dialogue and togetherness through the social cohesion activities of the "Connector Projects", as part of the SRF/Dewral project led by CRS and its partners, including CADEV-NIGER.

👥 In a fraternal atmosphere, local authorities, CADEV officials, HACP representatives, as well as members of host communities, refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), took part in these powerful moments that helped rebuild the fabric of social ties.

🎭🎶 On the program:

• Traditional dances (Bitti and Molo) honoring cultural diversity,
• inter-youth football matches to encourage unity,
• sanitation days around health centers to strengthen community solidarity,
• and tea debates to open the way for dialogue on shared challenges.

🤝 These activities, chosen by the communities themselves, helped bring energies together around a shared ideal: peace and living better together. Participants left proud, united and equipped to become champions of social cohesion in their villages.
