OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE PJPCS COMPETITION – NIGER (1st edition)

As part of promoting peace, social cohesion and living together in Niger, CADEV-Niger, in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) through the Sahel Peace Initiative (SPI), is officially launching the 1st edition of the Journalism Award for Peace and Social Cohesion (PJPCS).
Objective of the competition:
To encourage and showcase media productions that contribute to promoting peace, intercommunity dialogue, responsible citizenship and conflict prevention in Niger.
Who can participate?
This competition is open to journalists and media presenters (community radio, print and online press) working anywhere in the country.
Eligibility period for entries:
Entries must have been broadcast or published between 1 January and 26 June 2026.
